THE TOAD KUARTAM BECOMES TIGER

A shuar went of hunt and unbeliever imitated the song of the toad Kuartam that lives in the trees. "Kuartam-tan, Kuartam-tan", it challenged it amid the night, but anything happened. "Kuartam-tan, Kuartam-tan, to see if you eat" me, he said and laughed. Don't make it, their wife had told him, because he can become a tiger. He didn't believe her. Kuartam, the toad, became feline and he ate it. Anything was listened of their attack, but half of the body of the shuar it had disappeared.

To the dawn, the girl decided to kill Kuartam. It arrived until the tree where the batrachian sang the previous night. It knocked down the tree that killed Kuartam that had become a toad with an immense stomach when falling. The woman cut the paunch of Kuartam quickly and the pieces of the shuar rotated for the floors. The vengeance didn't return the life to the shuar but its wife could count that never is good to imitate Kuartam. In the distance of the dense forest a new one was listened: "kuartam-tan, kuartam-tan", without knowing if it was a toad or a shuar awaiting a tiger.

Hi Darwin,

Your article is pretty good, it is like one of those stories that grandmothers tell you when you are a child, and they use allegory to teach you something like, vengeance in never good. It wasn't scary but it had lots of imagination.
Thank you very much.
